LED phototherapy

LED phototherapy

Introduction:

The TheraLED machine offers a natural, non-ablative * method for skin rejuvenation. Light interacts with cells and stimulates them to produce new collagen and elastin through bio-light therapy. Studies confirm that the same energy can be used to inhibit collagen formation, which can be helpful in treating scars. By manipulating wavelengths cells can be deactivated. Yellow light is used for photo-rejuvenation. Blue light is used in the treatment of acne. Red light is used for photodynamic therapy, green light effectively redefines melanin cells and decreases pigment formation.

* Non-ablative lasers generate heat under the skin to induce controlled injury in the dermis without harming the skin surface. Non-ablative lasers are less invasive than their ablative counterparts. Downtime is drastically reduced and the potential for side effects is drastically reduced.

Functions of LED Photo Therapy:

1. Improves symptoms such as aging and sagging skin, large pores and wrinkles.

2. Improves pathological pigmentary changes, such as freckles, sunburns and senile plaques.

3. Improves dark complexion caused by poor metabolism or poor circulation.

4. Repairs and cares for damaged skin.

5. Effective in detumescence, reducing inflammation and removing scars / acne

Effects of different lights:

Red light :

With a wavelength of 640 nm, this mode of light can penetrate skin tissue up to 1 to 6 mm. It is very effective in promoting blood circulation, healing acne and scars, curing allergic skin dermatitis, and relieving skin pain. Additionally, red light can usefully activate an effective constituent in skin care products. The red light first of all makes it possible to improve the activity of the cells, to promote their metabolism, to excrete a large number of collagen proteins and fibrous tissues by the skin, to accelerate the blood circulation, to increase the elasticity of the skin. and improve withered skin (yellow and dark). It then achieves an anti-aging effect, optimal anti-oxidation (playing an anti-carcinogenic role) as well as skin repair; effects that traditional skin care cannot match. It is particularly useful for people with dry skin and allergies.

Blue light:

With a wavelength of 423 nm, blue light kills bacteria in acne, acts on the sebaceous gland and prevents injured skin areas from becoming infected. Generally speaking, acne is mainly caused by the acid bacillus; blue light has the effect of limiting inflammation, and can destroy these bacteria, and in this case reduce acne as much as possible in a very short time during the period of inflammation, and without damage to the tissue cutaneous.

Yellow light:

With a wavelength of 583 nm, this light mode can penetrate the depth of the skin down to 1-2 mm. Effective in reducing red spots on the skin, relieving skin swelling and pigment swelling. Yellow light provides energy to skin cells, promotes gland effect, aids digestion, cures skin diseases and improves immune capacity.

Green light:

With a wavelength of 532nm, light can penetrate the depth of the skin down to 0.5-2mm, soothing sensitive skin. Green light has neutralizing, balancing and calming effects. It can relieve tension and is helpful in eliminating edema.

Violet light:

With a wavelength of 690 nm, violet light is a double band light formed by red and blue light, the light has two phototherapy effects, it is effective in reducing acne and pimples.

Ultramarine light:

With a wavelength of 490 nm, this light can promote skin cell activity and skin tissue metabolism.

White light:

With a wavelength of 510 nm, white light can penetrate deep into the skin, speed up skin metabolism and smooth out wrinkles.
